HOW IT WORKS
Two teams, normal chess. White against Black, with the usual rules. Any number of people can join each team.
Your team's pieces are shared out. Everyone gets a few pieces to control. You can pick one as your hero and name it, and someone can take the king.
First to move plays the move. On your team's turn, whoever moves one of their pieces first makes the team's move, so talk it through together. If nobody moves before the timer runs out, the AI moves for you.
Captures become battles. When a piece is taken, the two pieces fight it out on the board.
Winning. Checkmate wins. In a timed match with no checkmate, the team with more capture points wins. Offering a draw or resigning needs the whole team to agree.
